Asterism Books
569 Occidental Ave S
Sunday, November 2, 2025
2pm-5pm
Like all Homeward Book Rec parties, the brief is simple: Bring a book to recommend, and bring a friend! Forgot a book? We’ll be hosted by indie distributor Asterism Books in their magical warehouse of obscure and delightful reads.
About Asterism:
Asterism’s warehouse is rarely open to the public, but filled with amazing books. They’re located past the end of the sidewalks, surrounded by soccer fans and dumpsters. Proceed without fear; we’ll have a sign out. Street parking is available, but not always present, and we’re close to the Light Rail (International District/Chinatown Station).
Accessibility: The building entrance is wheelchair accessible, with no stairs and a ramp near the garage from the road onto the sidewalk (we can provide photos if desired). There will be seating available.
Infection precautions: The space is enclosed, but large and open (lots of air circulation). Masks are not required, but they are welcome and respected. If you’re not feeling well, please enjoy your book at home (we’ll host more gatherings in the future).
Access: Contact us at seattle@homewardbooks.com if you have any questions, or if the ticket price is a financial hardship for you; we’re happy to comp you a ticket.
